Method for producing a homogenized tobacco material for use in an "aerosol-heated" non-combustible product, includes the steps of selecting a first target value for the first characteristic of tobacco, with the first characteristic of tobacco being the content of reducing sugars and the first target value is from about 8 percent to about 18 percent by dry weight of the total amount of tobacco present in the homogenized tobacco material; selecting the second target value of the second characteristic of tobacco, where the second characteristic of tobacco is one of the total ammonia and total alkaloids; mixing types of varietal tobacco with the formation of a tobacco mixture, each type of varietal tobacco contains a specified value of the first and second characteristics of tobacco, to provide the first and second target values of the first and second characteristics of the tobacco in the mixture within a predetermined tolerance range; grinding the tobacco mixture into mixed tobacco powder; forming a suspension containing mixed tobacco powder; and the formation of a web in the form of a homogeneous tobacco leaf from the suspension.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the creation of a homogenized tobacco material and a new method of obtaining a homogenized tobacco material for use in heated products that generate aerosol, of "heated without burning" type, which would be adapted to different heating properties and the requirements for the formation of an aerosol in such a heated aerosol generating product.
