SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of cast sheet of homogenised tobacco material. Method of producing cast sheet of homogenised tobacco material involves conversion of cellulose fibers into fibrous mass using water; milling a mixture of tobacco from one or more types of tobacco to tobacco particles; combining pulp fibers with tobacco particles and with binder to form pulp converted into fibrous mass; pulp homogenization; cast pulp to form a cast sheet of homogenised tobacco material from pulp; rejection of undesired parts of cast sheet and introduction of rejected undesirable parts of cast sheet into pulp.

EFFECT: novel method of producing a cast sheet of a homogenised tobacco material for use in an aerosol-generating article, wherein the amount of wastes is minimized and proper production of the cast sheet is maintained.
