SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of a homogenised tobacco material, comprising steps of selecting a first target value for a first tobacco property; separately grinding different types of tobacco to produce a variety of powders of milled tobacco; mixing at least two of a plurality of different powders of ground tobacco to form a first mixture of the tobacco powder; mixing at least two of a plurality of different powders of milled tobacco to form a second mixture of the tobacco powder; checking the value of first property of tobacco in first mixture of tobacco powder; adding a second mixture of the tobacco powder to the first mixture of the tobacco powder, if the value of the first property of the first mixture of tobacco powder is different from the first target value, in order to obtain a value of the first property of tobacco in the mixture of first and second mixtures of tobacco powders, different from first tobacco property value in first mixture of tobacco powder; and adding a second mixture of tobacco powder when mixing the first mixture of tobacco powder.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring control of the composition of the homogenised tobacco material for controlling the aerosol taste.
