FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the radio engineering and can be used in local positioning systems, namely in the labels searching and registering devices. In the method the label registration takes place in the near-field mode. Label stores the local positioning system identification data. Positioning node stores the label identification data. Positioning nodes send the address search packets to the local positioning system space. Desired label responds with the positioning impulse. Positioning nodes send the broadcast searching packets to the local positioning system space. For the label identification data detection a bisection method is used.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the power consumption in the label and in the positioning node, in ensuring of the received from a variety of labels signals overlapping elimination.
