FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiographic introscopy, more specifically to the gamma-radiographic introscopy of massive parts and workpieces from the heavy metals. Gamma radiographic introscopy method further comprises the steps, at which locating the detectors at a minimum distance between each other, and the illuminated object image is formed by accumulation of the coordinates of interactions with a thin coordinate detector-scatterer of those gamma rays passed through the illuminated object, which simultaneously left in both detectors a total energy equal to the initial one, wherein regardless of the absorption point in the gamma quanta total absorption thick detector Compton-scattered by the thin detector.
EFFECT: increase in the related to the gamma rays passage through a massive object from a heavy metal events recording efficiency without interacting with it, increase in the spatial resolution.
