SUBSTANCE: information on the structure and material composition of an illuminated object is obtained by processing primary beam attenuation data, from the ratio and number of neutrons scattered forward and back, as well as the spectrum of gamma radiation arising in the object.
EFFECT: wider field of use of radiographic inspection of the internal structure and identification of material composition of illuminated objects, reduced effect of scattered radiation and high image contrast, simple identification procedure.
