METHOD FOR DETERMINING TELOMERASE ACTIVITY BY THE METHOD OF DOUBLE AMPLIFICATION OF TELOMERIC REPEATS IN REAL TIME Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C12Q1/00 C12Q1/68

Abstract RU 2681165 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, biology, medicine, oncology, and veterinary medicine, and can be used to determine the activity of telomerase in the diagnosis of malignant tumors. Method is proposed for detecting and quantifying telomerase activity in biological samples of eukaryotic organisms by the method of double amplification of telomeric repeats in real time, based on measuring the total content of telomeric repeats newly synthesized by telomerase in an analyzed sample.

EFFECT: invention allows to provide a high sensitivity and specificity of the method, including when conducting analysis in biological samples characterized by a low content of telomerase-positive cells and the presence of telomerase inhibitors.
