SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Described is a pair of isolated nucleic acid molecules, intended for determination of hepatitis A virus (HAV) and consisting of nucleotide sequences or complements thereof, as presented in: 5′-GCGCCCGGCGGGGTCAACTCCAT-3′ (SEQ ID NO: 1); and 5′-AGCCAAGTTAACACTGCAAGG-3′ (SEQ ID NO: 2. Disclosed is a kit for detecting hepatitis A virus (HAV), which comprises said pair of oligonucleotide primers, wherein pair of primers is capable of annealing target sequence in PCR conditions for amplification of target sequences, and oligonucleotide probe, which has sequence 5′-TTAGCATGGAGCTGTAGGAGTCTAAATTGGGG-3′ (SEQ ID NO: 3), where probe is capable of annealing target sequence.

EFFECT: described is a method of amplifying a sequence of hepatitis A virus (HAV), involving use of said primers.
