SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing urea-containing mercaptosilanes. Method for preparing urea-containing mercaptosilanes of general formula (I) is proposed, where R1 represents the same or different C1-C10 alkoxy groups, and R represents the same or different unbranched saturated aliphatic divalent hydrocarbon groups with C1-C30, that chlorosilane of general formula (II) is subjected to interaction with NaSH in C2-C8alcohol.
EFFECT: proposed method allows to avoid the use of hazardous organic solvents and starting compounds and ensures an easy processing of the product.
