FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silane mixtures used in the rubber industry. A silane mixture is proposed, containing silanes of the formula (I) or the formula (II), where R1 have the same or different values and are C1-C10alkoxy groups, R2 is absent, R3 and R4 have the same or different values and are unbranched saturated aliphatic bivalent hydrocarbon groups with C1-C30, x is a number from 2 to 4, n is 1, y is 3, and z is 1, at the molar ratio between silane of the formula (I) and silane of the formula (II) from 20:80 to 90:10. Options of a method for the preparation of the specified silane mixtures are also proposed.
EFFECT: proposed silane mixtures, when used as part of rubber mixtures, provide reduction in rolling resistance of tires obtained from the specified rubber mixtures at the same time with improved wet road grip.
