FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oral care products. Disclosed ore care composition comprises a film comprising, based on the dry weight of the film, 20–60 wt% cellulose ethers; 10–30 wt% plasticiser; 1–5 wt% nonionic surfactant; 1.75–2.0 wt% anionic surfactant, wherein the anionic surfactant is lauryl sulphate; and 15–55 wt% pigment. Said film is soluble and is in the form of particles having a size of 0.18-0.84 mm (20–80 mesh).
EFFECT: presence of an anionic surfactant, such as sodium lauryl sulphate, in film particles of the above size provides a significant reduction in the residual surface staining caused by the pigment contained in the film particles when removing toothpaste (for example, in a sink).
