FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates generally to rotating parts and, in particular to a system and method for lubricating plain bearings in oscillatory motion. In the method, the system for lubricating a plain bearing assembly contains plain bearing assembly (110) adapted to ensure the rotation of shaft (112) around axis (22) of shaft (112). Plain bearing assembly (110) includes shaft 112, intermediate cylindrical bearing (116), located around shaft (112), and external bearing (118), located around intermediate bearing (116). Palin bearing assembly (110) is configured to facilitate the oscillatory movement of shaft 112 relative to external bearing (118), so that when the shaft rotates in the first direction around axis (22) of the bearing assembly, intermediate bearing (116) rotates around axis (22) of the bearing assembly in the first direction, and when shaft (112) rotates in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, around axis (22) of the bearing assembly, the rotation of intermediate bearing (116) around the axis of the bearing assembly experiences resistance or is prevented.
EFFECT: system for lubricating a plain bearing assembly contains a plain bearing assembly adapted to ensure rotation of the shaft around the axis of the shaft.
