SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the catalyst component for the ethylene polymerization, to the catalyst, and to the catalyst production method. Catalyst component has a structure represented by the general formula 1, where the R1, R2 and R3 substituents are independently from each other selected from the group comprising a hydrogen atom and alkyls; and the cycloalkyl substituent is selected from the group consisting of cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, cycloheptyl, cyclooctyl, cyclononyl, cyclodecyl, and cyclododecyl (i.e., g=1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8). Catalyst for the ethylene polymerization with the high molecular weight thermoplastic elastomeric polyethylene production includes at least one compound of the general formula 1; at least one aluminum organic activator, optionally ethylene, and at least one hydrocarbon solvent. Catalyst preparation method involves mixing in any sequence of a suspension or solution of at least one compound of the general formula 1, a suspension or solution of at least one aluminum organic activator, optionally in the presence of ethylene in the medium of at least one hydrocarbon solvent.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the previously not described catalyst component for the ethylene polymerization and the catalyst containing this component, as well as the possibility of using the catalyst component activation, in addition to alkylalumoxanes, of alkyl aluminum halides.
