SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for producing alternative fuels from municipal solid waste, including the sorting of waste with the release of combustible fractions and their subsequent grinding, drying, characterized by the fact that they preliminarily carry out the preparation of MSW by dividing the main flow of MSW into two fractions, small and large, and the sorting of the large fraction with the release of secondary raw materials, in the process of which the “tails” of sorting are formed, from which, when sorted further, the combustible fraction is separated, after grinding the combustible fraction, dried screenings are added to it – the small fraction isolated at the stage of preparation of the MSW, and mixed them.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the production of solid fuels from solid chemical waste with high heat value, safe and environmentally friendly.
