FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular, to cardiovascular surgery. Puncture of unsafine and/or tributary veins of the subcutaneous veins with intravenous catheters 20G is carried out under ultrasound control in a patient’s lying position. Further, the lower limbs are lifted to reduce the veins diameter. After ultrasound-controlled infiltration of perivenous tissues with saline, at the same time, complete emptying and spasm of the targeted veins is controlled. Then saline is injected directly in their lumen to remove residual blood. Then repeated ultrasonic control of emptying is carried out and the sclerosing drug is injected into the target veins in the form of micro-foam, also under ultrasound control.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation, increase the efficiency and reduce the volume and concentration of the injected drug during the sclerotherapy procedure for unsafine and/or tributary veins.
