FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to phlebology. Endovenous laser coagulation (EVLC) of the vein of the saphenous vein and sclerotherapy of its inflows are performed by introducing a foam form of the sclerosant. At the same time skin points are marked with drainage points of inconsistent inflows into perforating veins and wells of subcutaneous veins. After EVLC, an inconsistent vein is removed and intersected through a skin puncture at the marked points. Sclerosant is inserted into the proximal portion of the vein under ultrasound control.
EFFECT: method provides higher rate of successful vein occlusion, reduced probability of vein recanalization, safer procedures and reduced recurrent rate of varicose veins.
