SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of building materials and can be used to obtain magnesia cement and various products based on it. Magnesia binder contains 90–95 wt. % caustic magnesite powder, obtained from crystalline/amorphous magnesite, or from hydromagnesite, or from brucite, or from their mixture, 5–10 wt. % Trilon B in the form of a dry powder and mixing fluid. At the same time, water is introduced as a mixing fluid at a water-solid ratio of 0.5.

EFFECT: technical result is simplification of the binder production technology.
