FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to converters of radiation energy into an electrical signal. Device contains a thermal imaging camera and a computer connected to it. Thermal imaging camera contains a lens, a photosensitive array, a signal processor and a memory device, and the computer is equipped with special software to suppress random noise interference in the image by averaging several successive frames of the thermal image. Uncalibrated source of thermal radiation, a heat diffusing filter attached to the camera lens, and a two-dimensional spatial high-pass filter for filtering the resulting thermal image are introduced into the device.
EFFECT: simplification of the procedure for identifying an electronic portrait of a thermal imaging camera and the ability to carry it out in the field.
