SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the forest industry, in particular to pruning. Delimbing-bucking mechanism contains dragging rollers, delimbing knives, a sawing mechanism and a mechanism for measuring the length of assortments. Dragging roller, located on the mechanism case, is equipped with a gear wheel rigidly mounted on it, which engages with a set of gears. Gears are installed with the ability to transfer torque gear and proportional increase in the rotational speed of the final driven gear, which is the flywheel of the crank-slider mechanism used to drive the percussion mechanism. Percussion mechanism consists of a pusher and a piston located inside the hermetic housing. Trunk of the tree is seized by dragging rollers and covered with grabs and delimbing knives. Simultaneously with dragging the trunk through a ring formed by delimbing knives, reciprocating movements of the delimbing knives are carried out along the axis of the trunk being machined. After completion of pulling the trunk to the desired length of the sawn assortment, the trunk is cut by a sawing mechanism.

EFFECT: reduced energy intensity of the pruning process.
