FIELD: storage.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a sealed and heat-insulating tank for storing fluid. A tank wall contains auxiliary heat-insulating barrier (1), auxiliary sealing membrane, main heat-insulating barrier (5) and main sealing membrane (7) intended for contact with cryogenic fluid contained in the tank, in which main insulating elements include parallelepiped insulating panels (6) located so that gaps are formed between them. Main heat-insulating barrier (5) also contains anti-convection pad (34) made of thin continuous material and located along the end of first parallelepiped insulating panel (6) so that to essentially seal the gap between the mentioned first parallelepiped insulating panel and second parallelepiped insulating panel. The anti-convection pad contains the first end section fixed to the inner surface of the first parallelepiped insulating panel.
EFFECT: reduction in the convection.
