FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: electrical steel sheet with grain-oriented structure is proposed. To reduce iron losses and minimize the decrease in magnetic flux density, a steel sheet is obtained by grinding the magnetic domain, having a surface in which a groove is formed, passing in the direction intersecting the direction of rolling, and in which the direction of the depth of the groove corresponds to the direction of the thickness of the sheet. Average depth D of the groove is greater than 10 mcm and equal to or less than 40 mcm in the case when the groove is viewed in cross section in the direction of the width of the groove, which is perpendicular to the direction of the length of the groove, when the center of the groove in the direction of the width of the groove is defined as the center of the width of the groove, the deepest part of the groove deviates from the center of the width of the groove to one side in the direction of the groove width and the shape of the profile of the groove is asymmetric with respect to the center of the width of the groove as a reference point in the direction of the width of the groove.
EFFECT: reducing iron loss and minimizing the decrease in magnetic flux density.
