SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. Electrotechnical steel sheet with oriented grain structure includes a steel sheet having a surface on which grooves are formed, passing in the direction crossing the rolling direction, the depth direction of which corresponds to the sheet thickness direction. Molten and hardened material arranged in parallel to the groove is present on both sides of the groove on the surface of the steel sheet. Height, which is maximum frequent in distribution of heights, when surface of steel sheet in certain area, including groove, is measured with regular intervals, is installed as some virtual plane, and when volume of parts depressed relative to this virtual plane is V1, and volume of parts protruding from this virtual plane is V2, value V2/V1 is more than 0.10 and less than 0.80. Plurality of projections is formed in this defined area, and among this set of protrusions the width of the projection closest to the furrow is greater than the width of other projections. When area, where average height in direction of length is highest in distribution of heights, is considered in section along groove, which includes direction of length and direction of sheet thickness, roughness average value Ra of the roughness curve forming the surface of said region is 0.30–2.00 mcm, and the arithmetic mean length RSm of the roughing curve element forming the surface of said region is 10–150 mcm.

EFFECT: high corrosion resistance, improved insulating properties and reduced noise of the multilayer core.
