SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. In order to obtain low losses and low magnetostriction in the core, a sheet of grain-oriented electrical steel includes a base steel sheet, a primary film formed on the surface of the base steel sheet, and a tension insulation coating formed on the surface of the primary film, in which magnetic domain control is performed by irradiating the tension insulation coating with a laser from above, wherein a deformation value is obtained by performing measurements on the electrical steel sheet, in which the range from the surface of the tension insulation coating to a depth position of 5 mcm toward the base steel sheet side from an interface between the base steel sheet and the primary film is removed by pickling at least one surface, having an oriented grain structure of electrical steel at a length of 300 mm in a direction parallel to the rolling direction and at a length of 60 mm in a direction parallel to the transverse direction.

EFFECT: low losses and low magnetostriction.
