FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to security monitoring methods and can be used in applications of double-beam passive infrared detection means (DM) for signaling control of road network. Proposed method consists in deployment of three passive infrared DMs at triple fork of roads; installation of each of three DMs near one of three divergent roads so that it with optical axis of its detection zone (DZ) crossed it; alignment of axes of all three DM clockwise or counterclockwise so that they intersect one another in pairs on roads, forming a triangle below the center of three-way fork of roads; installation for each of three DMs of the minimum allowable distance to the far from it road, at which the DZ of the person and the vehicle of the DM has crossed only the road nearest to it, and vehicle only crossed only long-distance road; detection of DM of violator and determination of its side of movement when crossing DZ; providing recording by a information collecting and processing system (ICPS) of signals from the DM; setting the maximum time for accumulating ICPS of signals from the DM from the moment of the arrival of the first alarm signal based on the minimum possible speed of the person on the road and the distance it travels between the DZ of the detection means, using an algorithm which identifies the intruder type by the number of alarm signals, received for a specified maximum time of accumulation of signals: one alarm signal - foot intruder (FI), two or three signals - intruder on vehicle (IV); recognition by the algorithm of the violator's direction of movement by the number of one or numbers of several DMs issuing the alarm signal, and to the specified side of the intruder’s movement relative to the center of three-way fork of roads.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining the possibility of identifying an intruder - FI or IV type with a low probability of error.
