FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology, orthopedics and oncoortopedics, and can be used for treating tumor involvement of proximal femur. Acetabular component of the dual mobility system is inserted and a post-excision femoral defect is replaced with an endoprosthesis. Diaphyseal part of femoral component is wrapped with titanium silk mesh. It is modelled to the required size and fixed with the help of lavsan threads. Endoprosthesis is assembled and fixed, and soft tissues are fixed to the fixed mesh.
EFFECT: method provides reducing a risk of forming a periprosthetic residual cavity, preventing the development of early and late dislocations of the endoprosthesis after resection of the proximal femoral bone, and the possibility of earlier and effective rehabilitation of the patient by wrapping with a titanium silk.
