FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to rehabilitation methods, and can be used for rehabilitation of children older than 7 years with correction of movement pattern in children with brittle bone disease. For that end a rehabilitation therapist performs with a child a therapeutic exercises complex of five exercises. 1st exercise: from the initial position (i.p.) – feet shoulder-width apart, without additional support, the feet are parallel to each other and start the exercise with the feet lining. First, the child rests on the outer edge of feet, then touches the floor with pads under great toes and holds feet in this position, while keeping transverse and longitudinal arches of feet. Further, the child strains the quadriceps and abdominal muscles reducing the flexure of lumbar lordosis. Then the child takes the shoulders back, at the same time he lowers and brings together the shoulder bones. 2nd exercise: i.p. – feet shoulder-width apart, without additional support, the feet are parallel to each other and start the exercise with the feet lining. First, the child rests on the outer edge of feet, then touches the floor with pads under great toes and holds feet in this position, while keeping transverse and longitudinal arches of feet, then child performs 5–10 sit to stand, keeping the aligned body axis. 3rd exercise: i.p. – child stands and feet shoulder-width apart, feet are parallel to each other, under feet child holds a gymnastic rubber band, stepping on its central part, ends of the band are of uniform length and the child holds them in palms, hands at the side. Then the child makes the body position: stands on the heels, then on the outer edge of feet, touches the floor with the pads under great toes and holds himself in this position, after which the child is lowered into the half-knee bend position, bends arms in the elbows, tightening the ends of the gymnastic band. Exercise is performed 10–15 times. 4th exercise: i.p. – the child is sitting on chair, feet touch the floor, press is stressed, arms are down, the child holds the gymnastic band is in its central part at distance of shoulder width. Child raises the straighten arms before the breast, with effort separates arms in the sides, brings together the shoulder bones, keeping press muscles in tension. This exercise is repeated 5–10 times. 5th exercise: i.p. – the child is sitting on chair, feet touch the floor, the central part of the gymnastic band is under the transverse arch of foot, child keeps free ends of the band of equal length in hands with tension. Herewith the child builds a physiological position of feet preserving the arches, for this, at first the child rests on the outer edge of foot, then touches the floor with a pad under the great toes and holds feet in this position. Then the child lifts the medial end of the foot, at the same time the tension of the band decreases from the medial side, the support on the outer edge of the foot and the heel is preserved. Then the child lowers the medial end of the foot by overcoming the band resistance and tries not to deflect the knee, repeats 10–15 times.
EFFECT: method provides considerable reinforcement of the muscular system of children suffering the given pathology and correction of the posture peculiarities due to performing the exercises in the positions approximating to the physiological positions that leads to the risk reduction of further fractures.
