FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making a short-circuited rotor winding of an electrical machine, mainly asynchronous motors, and can be used in their production. Method of rotor short-circuited winding manufacturing consists in chill mold making, including an alloy and a stack of magnetic conductor sheets laminated on a mandrel, closed at the ends by two half-molds, heating the finished chill mold in the furnace, the melt is heated to a temperature of not more than 750–800 °C, slag is removed, the melt is poured into a heated chill mold and held for crystallisation. Chill mold is made by means of additive technologies, by method of selective laser melting with help of 3D printer. Chill mold alloy is made of titanium. Finished chill mold is heated to temperature of 300–350 °C. Filling of the melt is carried out in the process of mechanical impacts with load of 200 grams and force of 10 N with frequency of 100 Hz on the chill mold until the melt cools down to temperature of 600 °C.

EFFECT: improved resistance of the resulting rotor winding due to improved manufacturing process and higher quality of casting.
