FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a method for measuring and representing the track geometry of a track system. Method of measurement and the geometry of the track system of a rail track is carried out by means of a track-drivable superstructure machine having a control measurement system for measuring the track position to be corrected before a lifting/lining device, an acceptance measurement system for measuring the corrected position of the track after the lifting/lining device and connected output devices for displaying measurement results. Lifting/lining device is controlled in accordance with the measured values of the control measurement system and of the acceptance measurement system for the purpose of achieving a specified track target geometry. In order to create the preferred conditions for straightening from the curvature graph, the longitudinal graph, and the elevation graph of the nominal track geometry, a three-dimensional position graph is calculated. This three-dimensional graph of position is translated into a perspective image and depicted using an output device. This perspective graph of the position is complemented by the measured characteristics of the defects for the parameters of the path: track direction, elevation, twist and longitudinal height.

EFFECT: as a result, the probability of improper maintenance of the machine is reduced, it becomes possible to intuitively operate the machine.
