FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pulmonology and cardiology, and deals with prediction of risk of development of ischemic heart disease (IHD) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). For this purpose COPD duration, body weight index, as well as genotype by polymorphism e2/e3/e4 of apolipoprotein E and genotype by polymorphism G-308A of gene of tumour necrosis factor-alpha are determined. Probability of IHD development is calculated by formula: P=e (-11.24 + 0.103×COPD duration + 0.224×BWI + 1.199×genotype by polymorphism e2/e3/e4 of gene APO-E + 1.550×genotype by polymorphism G-308A of gene TNF-α)/(1+e(-11.24+0.103×COPD duration + 0.224×BWI + 1.199× genotype by polymorphism e2/e3/e4 of gene APO-E + 1.550×genotype by polymorphism G-308A of gene TNF-α)). If P<0.5 low risk of ischemic heart disease development is predicted, if P>0.5, high risk of ischemic heart disease development is predicted.
EFFECT: method ensures increase of accuracy of prediction of risk of IHD development, which, in its turn, makes it possible to select volume of preventive and therapeutic procedures in due time to reduce said risk.
