SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining a driver's functional state in a flight. Method involves recording physiological parameters and processing them. As physiological parameters tremor of the driver's body is recorded, for which on the steering wheel and on the wrist of the right hand (RH), which interacts with the gearbox lever, triaxial accelerometers are installed, continuously recording amplitude-frequency characteristics. Involuntary component of isometric tremor RH is picked up by abrupt changes of linear acceleration of motion when transferring the RH from the steering wheel to the gearbox lever, indices of an arbitrary component of the kinetic tremor RH are determined, according to which the negative change of the functional state of the driver in relation to the individual norm is evaluated.

EFFECT: enabling the use of psychogenic tremor parameters as a stress indicator of the psychophysiological state of the driver for accident-free operation in the voyage.
