FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to medical diagnostics, and can be used to diagnose chlamydial urogenital infection in men based on the assessment of cytokine levels. For this purpose determine the levels of cytokines using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Levels of tumor necrosis factor-beta (TNFβ) are determined in the serum of venous blood. Level of soluble receptor for interleukin-2 (IL-2sR) and the level of interleukin-10 (IL-10) are determined in the discharge from the urethra. With reducing the level of TNFβ from 0.5 to 1.99 pg/ml, increasing IL-2sR from 3.0 to 5.0 pg/ml and lowering IL-10 from 0.8 to 3.0 pg/ml, chlamydial urogenital infection in men is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention provides improved accuracy and efficiency, as well as reduced time for the diagnosis of chlamydial urogenital infection in men.
