FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to a method for making ocular prostheses. Technical result is achieved by a method for making an ocular prosthesis, in which the linear dimensions and volume of an ocular cavity are pre-determined, as well as the structure of the walls surfaces of the ocular cavity by digital scanning, 3D model of an ocular prosthesis is made by mechanical processing of a biologically compatible workpiece from acryl copolymers. Outer surface of prepared 3D model of the ocular prosthesis is coated with acrylic copolymer of the required tone corresponding to the eyeball sclera. Synthetic microstripes imitating sclera vessels are attached to the external surface by means of infrared radiation. Transparent lens with an iris is placed on the prepared rounded area on 3D model of the ocular prosthesis. A monolithic model is obtained by secondary coating of the volumetric model of the ocular prosthesis with transparent acrylic copolymer.
EFFECT: reduction of manufacturing time at exact aesthetic conformity of appearance of an ocular prosthesis to a healthy eye.
