FOREST FIRE FROM THE SPACECRAFT MONITORING METHOD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01C11/02

Abstract RU 2683143 C1

FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of remote monitoring. Forest fire from the spacecraft monitoring method. Forest fire from the spacecraft monitoring method includes the underlying surface shooting from the spacecraft and the fire contour determining by the resulting image. Additionally, memorizing the time at which the fire contour was determined. Determining and memorizing the wind field parameters. Determine the underlying surface various types areas boundaries and distance from the fire contour to these underlying surface area and boundaries, the fire spreading to which is investigated. Determining the time interval Δt, counted from memorized time tp, as the smallest of the time intervals until the fire contour touches the said boundaries and the said area, and up to the point in time, at which the wind field predicted parameters deviations from their memorized values exceed the specified value. Determining the fire contour at a certain point t+ Δt, memorizing this moment and the wind field predicted parameters. In case of the specified area location outside of the specific fire contour, actions are repeated, starting with the distances determination. Most rapid spread of fire line to the specified area is defined as the line from given area to the determined from the image fire contour, divided into segments by the determined fire contours.

EFFECT: technical result consists in determining of the most rapid spread of fire line to the area, to which the fire spreading is investigated.
