SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of remote monitoring. Forest fire from the spacecraft monitoring method. In case of the specified area location outside of the specific fire contour, actions are repeated, starting with the distances determination. Most rapid spread of fire line to the specified area is defined as the line from given area to the determined from the image fire contour, divided into segments by the determined fire contours.
EFFECT: technical result consists in determining of the most rapid spread of fire line to the area, to which the fire spreading is investigated.
