FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used for monitoring the movement of an object of mainly shifting natural masses of a glacier and a landslide from an orbital space vehicle (SV). To realise the technical result, the method includes building a preset orientation of a SV equipped with radio equipment, determining the moments of passage of the SV over the object and determining the parameters of movement of the object based on the received hardware data. Additionally, the coordinates of the RA are determined, based whereon, accounting for the values of the parameters of the orbit of the SV, the time of presence of the transceiver radio apparatus (RA) in the field of view of the transmitting antenna of the SV is determined. The signal transmitted from the SV is received by the RA with the current values of the parameters of the orbit. Based on the parameters of the orbit and the determined current coordinates of the RA, the time of presence of the RA in the field of view of the receiving antenna of the SV is determined. A signal with the times and coordinates of the RA determined for the set amount of moments at specified time intervals, based whereon, the parameters of movement of the object are determined and the time ΔTr of movement of the RA to the set distance determined by the required accuracy of monitoring is predicted, is transmitted from the RA to the SV.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of monitoring the movement of the object.
