FIELD: biotechnology; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for screening substances with anti-inflammatory activity is disclosed, including mixing a test substance with a fixed amount of human TNF-alpha and adding this mixture to the cell culture of the chondral series followed by measuring the expression of the biological marker. Chondroblasts obtained from the hyaline cartilaginous tissue of the fingers of six-fingered babies are used as a culture of human cells after passaging multiple times before the 20th passage, having a uniform cell monolayer in the absence of cellular debris and the ability to respond to TNF-alpha induction and TNF-alpha inhibition after cryopreservation.
EFFECT: invention provides a high efficiency of screening new drugs through the use of a homogeneous culture of chondroblasts without cellular debris.
