METHOD FOR SELECTING A METHOD FOR TREATING ACUTE DESTRUCTIVE PANCREATITIS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/52

Abstract RU 2683291 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, anesthesiology and resuscitation science, and can be used to select a method for treating acute destructive pancreatitis (ADP). That is ensured by investigating functional activity of neutrophils before the start of therapy during the first days after the diagnosis of ADP using chemiluminescent analysis. Intensity maximum (Imax) and time taken to reach the maximum (Tmax) of spontaneous luminol-dependent chemiluminescence of neutrophils are determined. Chemiluminescence activation coefficient (CHAC) is further calculated, wherein the chemiluminescence activation coefficient is the ratio of Imax to Tmax: CHAC = Imax / Tmax. If the CHAC value is below 35.12, a conservative method for treating ADP is recommended. If the CHAC value is equal to and above 35.12, but lower than 97.85, a laparoscopic method is recommended, and if the CHAC value is equal to and higher than 97.85, a laparotomic method of treatment is recommended.

EFFECT: invention allows selecting a method for treating ADP.
