SUBSTANCE: method for abdominal sepsis development prediction for patients with advanced pyoperitonitis (AP), including determination of relative superoxide radical synthesis index (RSSI) during the first 24 hours after AP diagnosis by means of chemiluminescence analysis in the patients blood; RSSI is the ratio of the area under the luminol-dependent chemiluminescence curve to the area under the lucigen-dependent chemiluminescence curve, and at RSSI above 1.32, development of abdominal sepsis is predicted.

EFFECT: method allows to determine the risk of abdominal sepsis development in the early period of the disease.
