SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, and in particular to a method for prolonging the release of albumin from the shadows of red blood cells. Method of prolonging the release of albumin from the shadows of red blood cells, including the use as containers of shadows of red blood cells, obtained by the hypoosmotic shock of native red blood cells and incubating them in a solution of biologically active substances, followed by "closing" the shadows of red blood cells in an isotonic medium, in this case, "closing" the shadows of erythrocytes is carried out by adding to them a solution of glutaraldehyde, followed by laundering of the shadows from the glutaraldehyde outside the shadows.

EFFECT: above method allows for the prolonged release of albumin from the shadow of red blood cells.
