FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two variants of the method for producing ethylene oligomers of composition C6 by oligomerization of ethylene on chromium-containing catalytic systems at elevated pressure and temperature. One of the variants of the method is characterized by the fact that they carry out the preliminary formation of a catalytic system using the complex [CrCl3(TNF)3], linger of pincer type composition (RZCH2CH2)2O, where R = methyl, ethyl, phenyl, Z = sulfur, selenium and activator of triethyl aluminum at a molar ratio of complex : ligand : activator = 1:1:20, the oligomerization process is carried out at a pressure of 2 MPa and a temperature of 40–80 °C.
EFFECT: using the proposed method allows to obtain olefins of C6 composition under mild conditions with the content of hexene-1 in a mixture of hexene up to 89 %.
