Wireless device comprises: a processor and memory, which stores instructions executed by the processor, wherein the processor interacts with the memory to execute instructions executed by the processor, so the wireless device operates with the possibility of: transmitting uplink data units; receiving a message of acceptance acknowledgement of uplink packets; implementing after receiving the EC-PUAN message, a first reachability frequency for a first period of time; and implementing, after the first period of time, a second reachability frequency for a second period of time, wherein the first reachability frequency is more frequent than the second reachability frequency, and wherein a sum of the first period of time and the second period of time is equal to a period of a ready timer.

EFFECT: reduced battery consumption of the wireless device.
