FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Technical result is achieved due to fixed allocation of uplink resources and flexible distribution of downlink resources. Invention provides a description of a radio access network node, a wireless communication device, and methods for improving the distribution of wireless radio resources.
EFFECT: technical result is to implement the transmission on the EC-GSM downlink to wireless devices (normal or extended coverage) on the same PDTCH resources, that are used to service legacy wireless devices, keeping the TFI field at the same position in all headers of the radio block of the downlink, regardless of whether the radio unit is sent to a legacy wireless device or an EC-GSM wireless device.
