SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to products used for skin care of the face and eyelids. In the method, the self-heating insulating film has a structure of at least three layers. Said first layer that is an outer layer in the direction from the outside is formed from an air-breathable material. Said second heat-generating layer is filled with a heat-generating compound that generates heat upon contact with air, wherein at least the upper covering surface of the heat-generating layer, which is in contact with the outer layer, is formed from an air-breathable material. Said third heat-insulating layer is formed from a material with waterproof and heat-insulating properties; and is a metal-coated film, the metal-coated film being a metallized polyethylene terephthalate film, a metallized film from oriented polypropylene, a metallized nylon film, a metallized polyethylene film or a metallized film of non-oriented polypropylene. Said heat-generating composition in the heat-generating layer contains from 30 to 50 parts by weight of medical iron powder, from 10 to 15 parts by weight of activated carbon, from 1 to 5 parts by weight of metal salt, from 3 to 13 parts by weight of vermiculite, from 1 to 5 parts by weight of water-absorbent resin and from 1 to 5 parts by weight of water; or the heat-generating composition further comprises from 1 to 5 parts by weight of diatomite. Disclosed are face and eye masks and methods for their use.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing uniform heat generation and effective increase in the heating time and reduction in the maximum heating temperature.
