SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely, to variants of a steam-heated mask. In the first variant, the mask comprises a mask including a part of the body of the mask covering the nose and mouth of the wearer when wearing the mask, a pair of ear loops provided at the left and right ends of part of the body of the mask. The mask comprises a steam generator on part of the body of the mask. The percentage of the area occupied by the steam generator is equal to or greater than 30% and equal to or less than 80% of the area of the entire surface of the part of the body of the mask on the side of the wearer. The value of stiffness of the steam generator in the vertical direction is equal to or greater than 30 gs/60 mm width. The steam generator accommodates a steam-generating part. The steam generator includes a first sheet on the surface of the steam-generating part on the side of the wearer and a second sheet on the surface of the steam-generating part opposite the surface on the side of the wearer. The degree of air permeability of the first sheet is equal to or less than 7,000 s/100 ml. The degree of air permeability of the second sheet is greater than 8,000 s/100 ml. In the second variant, the degree of air permeability of the second sheet is equal to or greater than 250 s/100 ml and equal to or less than 8,000 s/100 ml, and the degree of air permeability of the first sheet is equal to or less than 20% of the degree of air permeability of the second sheet.

EFFECT: facilitated breathing due to the air heated in the mask during steam generation, increase in the absolute humidity in the mask, and improved feeling of moisturisation of the mucous membranes of the throat and nose.
