SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology, and can be used to determine position of intraocular lens (IOL) in anterior segment of eyeball. Under conditions of cycloplegia using a contactless method of conducting optical coherence tomography on an OCT Visante instrument in an Anterior Quard and / or Double mode with a scanning width of 16 × 6 mm determine the location of the frontal plane passing through diametrically opposite points (B and B1). B and B1 correspond to scleral spurs. BB1 is designated as baseline. Perpendicular segments are drawn from extreme points of IOL (A and A1) optical part diameter to intersect with base line - AB and A1B1. IOL concentration in mm is determined by the following formula: IOL Dilution = (AV-A1B1) / 2.

EFFECT: method provides fast and convenient determination of the dislocation and inclination of the IOL by quantitative parameters characterizing the position of the IOL relative to the main axes and planes of the anterior segment of the eye.
