FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for evaluating angle of deviation of intraocular lens by means of optical coherent tomography (OCT). OCT of the eye front segment OCT RTVue (Optovue, USA) is performed. Cornea Crossline scanning protocol is selected to obtain an image of the iris profile, anterior and posterior surface of the IOL. Further, each stored image is opened separately in the menu of images View B-scans of the horizontal and vertical scanning meridians and switches to the Analyze analysis menu. Using the Point Line measurement instrument, a straight line perpendicular to the tomography ray path is arranged, positioned above the visible part of the iris, and a line located on the plane of the pupil, which is constructed from pupillary edges of the visible part of the iris. Lines perpendicular to control line are drawn. Line is placed on the plane IOL, parallel to its front surface. Using Angle measurement tool angles of pupil plane and plane IOL formed between lines perpendicular to control line and lines located in plane of pupil and plane IOL are determined. Angle of deviation IOL will be the difference between the angle of the pupil plane and the IOL plane. Deviation angle IOL in the opposite scanning meridian is calculated similarly.
EFFECT: method provides simple determination of angle of inclination of intraocular lens due to analysis of OCT images.
