FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines fuel supply systems. Disclosed are method and device of vehicle movement control, including: determining remaining fuel in fuel tank 20 including fuel chamber 26 accommodating suction channel 27 of fuel pump 22 to be sucked in engine 2. Fuel tank is configured to generate negative pressure for fuel suction into fuel chamber (26) by extracting part of fuel sucked by fuel pump (22) into fuel chamber (26) via fuel line (29). According to the invention, when the predetermined condition is satisfied and the vehicle moves by inertia, while maintaining engine (2) stopped and when certain remaining fuel volume is less than first threshold value, activation of fuel pump (22).
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to facilitate restart of the engine at the end of inertial movement of the vehicle.
