FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: group of invention relates to control of the output power of the internal combustion engine linked with work of the vehicle interlock coupling. The vehicle drive device includes engine, torque converter, interlock coupling, sensor of accelerator pedal pressing and programmable controller. The controller is programmed to control the interlock coupling such that is disengages as response to the accelerator pedal pressing during vehicle coasting, and suppression of the fuel supply restoration to the internal combustion engine as response to the accelerator pedal pressing during the vehicle coasting until the pressure of the interlock coupling engagement will be reduced the pre-set value. Under the second option the device contains the device detecting the accelerator pedal pressing, control device (S2, S2A) for interlock coupling disengagement to control the interlock coupling, and device (S4, S4A) suppressing supply restoration.
EFFECT: reduced effect on vehicle speed due to insignificant unintentional pressing of the accelerator pedal during coasting by means of the internal combustion engine control.
