FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to phase finders and is intended for use in aircraft radio monitoring systems for direction finding of radio-frequency sources. Essence of the invention consists in that the phase direction finder comprises five spaced apart receivers with receiving antennae, five connected to outputs of receivers of analogue-to-digital conversion modules, digital outputs of which are connected to signal processor, wherein between signals received by the central and most distant antennae, performing correlation time-phase difference processing, and between signals received by central and adjacent antennas - differential-phase, based on which in signal processor uniquely determined bearings of radiation sources in azimuthal and elevation planes.

EFFECT: technical result is expansion of the range of wavelength of the direction-finding radiation sources by more than an order, including the meter and decimetre ranges, with simultaneous elimination of phase errors of analogue signal processing devices owing to use of digital signal processing.
