FIELD: kitchen appliance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grill grate. Apparatus includes a flat plate as a grill grate for a charcoal grill, a gas grill or an electric grill for roasting meat, fish, vegetables and other food products. There are equidistant vertical slits in the plate, wherein the webs and slits have a homogeneous curvilinear shape, the size of webs in plan view is less than the plate thickness, so that height of the webs is greater than their thickness. Webs have a rectangular cross-section to ensure a substantially flat surface while the slits and webs in plan view preferably have an identical wavy shape.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention lies in the fact that the surface remains even, as a result of which the roasted food product on the grill does not stick to the laying surface and using a thin spatula can be separated without any problems from the steel plate on the teppanyaki grilling surface, as well as turning and stirring.
