FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for preparation of food products in open air on solid fuel, mainly on coals. Portable hybrid of a starter for ignition of coals and a charcoal grill for preparation of food products, which in a vertical position performs a function of a starter for ignition of coals, and in horizontal position it performs the function of a barbeque/grill, is a body made in the form of a pipe and consisting of longitudinal and side walls located perpendicular to the longitudinal walls. At least one of the longitudinal walls is movably connected to the neighbouring longitudinal wall by means of loops to ensure the possibility of transformation of the starter for ignition of coals into a brazier/grill for preparation of food products. Housing contains a smaller coal ignition chamber/ash pit and a large combustion chamber. Combustion chamber is limited by side walls made in the form of grids rigidly connected to one of the longitudinal walls of the housing, which ensure that coal does not fall out during transportation and ingress of fire from the ignition chamber into the combustion chamber. On the longitudinal walls of the ignition chamber/ash pit and the combustion chamber there are ventilation holes providing air suction during the device ignition in the starter mode and to maintain the coal heat in the device in the barbeque mode. Longitudinal walls are made with height from 10 to 15 cm to provide distance between coals and food product and additionally contain at least one handle providing possibility to carry coals in the device and to turn the device from vertical position to horizontal position. At least one of the longitudinal walls, which is movably connected to the adjacent longitudinal wall by means of hinges, has an L-shape or is made in the form of opening flaps/doors.

EFFECT: creation of optimal conditions for preparation of a quality food product, expansion of functional capabilities of the device.
